SEO SERVICES
SEO Services That Grow Rankings, Enquiries and Revenue Together
Technical SEO, keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, local SEO and AI Overviews optimization — delivered by one senior SEO consultant, not handed down to a junior team.
Every engagement starts the same way
Before anything is written or built, I want to know three things: what is technically stopping the site from ranking, which searches lead to money, and who is beating you for them today. That is the audit. Everything after it is execution.
You can hire me for the whole program or for a single piece of it. Most clients start with an audit, then move to a monthly retainer once they can see what needs doing.
Technical SEO audits and fixes
A site that cannot be crawled, indexed and rendered properly will never rank, however good the content is. This is where I start on almost every project.
- Full crawl analysis: orphan pages, crawl waste, redirect chains and broken internal links
- Indexation review in Google Search Console, including pages Google chose not to index and why
- Site architecture and internal linking: how authority actually flows to your money pages
- Core Web Vitals and page speed, diagnosed at template level rather than page by page
- Duplicate and thin content, canonicals, pagination and faceted navigation
- Schema markup, XML sitemaps, robots.txt and hreflang where it applies
You get a written audit with every issue ranked by revenue impact and effort, not a 90-page automated tool export. I then either fix it or work alongside your developers until it is done, and track recovery in Search Console.
Keyword research and search intent mapping
Most keyword research stops at a spreadsheet of search volumes. That is where the work should start.
I map every commercial term to exactly one page with exactly one job. Informational, commercial and transactional intent get different page types, so a buying query never lands on a blog post and a research query never lands on a checkout page. Two pages never compete for the same search.
| Search intent | What the searcher wants | The page that should rank |
|---|---|---|
| Informational | To understand a problem or option | Guide, explainer or FAQ article |
| Commercial | To compare options before buying | Comparison page, buying guide, review |
| Transactional | To buy or enquire now | Product, service or location page |
| Navigational | To reach a specific brand or page | Home page or brand page |
On-page SEO optimization
On-page work is not a plugin score. It is making one page unambiguously the best answer to one search.
Content depth and structure
Headings that mirror how people actually search, content that covers what the ranking pages cover and the questions they leave unanswered.
Titles, meta and snippets
Title tags and descriptions written to earn the click, not to hit a character count. Schema so you qualify for rich results.
Internal linking
Deliberate links between related articles and product or service pages, with anchor text that tells Google what the target page is for.
Link building and off-page SEO
Authority still decides who wins competitive searches. The question is how you build it without buying a penalty.
- Link acquisition and guest placements on sites with real audiences and real traffic
- Local citations and directory consistency for businesses with physical locations
- Digital PR angles drawn from your own data, clients or founder story
- Link indexing — a placement Google never indexes is a placement that never counted
- Competitor backlink gap analysis, so effort goes where it changes the gap
What I will not do: PBNs, bulk directory blasts, or link packages priced per hundred. They move a tool metric and nothing in the SERP, and they age badly.
Local SEO and Google Business Profile
For a clinic, restaurant, law firm or showroom, the map pack is the whole game. Three listings get almost all the calls.
- Google Business Profile setup, categories, services and attributes
- Review strategy and responses that actually influence ranking and conversion
- Local citation building and NAP consistency across directories
- Location and service-area landing pages that rank on their own
- Local schema and map pack tracking by grid position
- Suspended listing reinstatement — I have recovered a client listing end to end
GEO and AI Overviews optimization
A growing share of searches now end inside an AI answer instead of on your website. Generative engine optimization is how you get cited in that answer rather than replaced by it.
- Answer-first content structure, so a model can lift a clean, correct passage
- Entity and topical authority building, so your brand is associated with the subject
- Schema and structured data that make claims machine-readable
- Statistics, sources and original data that AI systems prefer to cite
- Tracking brand mentions and citations across AI Overviews, ChatGPT search and Perplexity
This is not a replacement for SEO. It is the same discipline applied to a second set of readers — and the sites that do it well are already showing up in both.
Ways to work together
Three formats, depending on whether you need a diagnosis, a plan, or someone to run the whole thing.
SEO audit
One-off. A full technical, on-page and competitive audit with prioritised fixes and a keyword map you can hand to any developer or writer.
Monthly retainer
I own your SEO. Quarterly strategy, weekly execution, monthly reporting on rankings, traffic and enquiries. The format most clients end up on.
Consulting and training
You have a team but need direction. Strategy, process and review sessions so your people execute properly instead of guessing.
SEO services FAQ
How much do your SEO services cost?
It depends on the scope, the competitiveness of your niche and whether you need strategy only or execution as well. A one-off audit is priced per site; retainers are priced per month against an agreed scope. Send me your website and I will quote honestly, including telling you if you do not need a retainer yet.
Do I need a full retainer or can I start with an audit?
Start with the audit unless you already know exactly what is wrong. It gives you a prioritised plan you can execute yourself, hand to your team, or bring back to me. Nothing is wasted either way.
Which tools do you use?
Google Analytics and Google Search Console for truth, SEMrush and Ahrefs for competitive and backlink data, Google Business Profile for local, plus AI tools in daily research and content work. Tools inform decisions; they do not make them.
Will you work with my existing developer or agency?
Yes, and it usually works well. I write the specifications, your developer ships them, and I verify the result in Search Console. Plenty of clients keep their web team and hire me only for search.
Do you write the content too?
I run the content pipeline: topic research, briefs, publishing schedule and internal linking. I write when it makes sense and brief your writers when you have them. At Ultra Healthcare I ran this across five websites at once.
What happens in the first 30 days?
Week one and two: audit, competitor analysis and keyword mapping. Week three: the prioritised plan and any quick technical wins. Week four: the first execution cycle starts and baseline reporting is set up so we can prove what changed.
Ready to find out what is holding your rankings back?
Send me your website and the searches you want to win. You will get an honest read, not a sales pitch.
